CNN Panel ERUPTS After Spokesperson Compares Trump To Martin Luther King Jr. (DETAILS)

Kayleigh McEnany, a conservative columnist, appeared on a CNN panel this week to attempt to defend Donald Trump’s obscene racism. And in the process, she “crashed and burned,” as you might say.

That much can be expected. What is most notable, however, is what — more specifically, who — the columnist compared Trump to in order to try and make her point.

McEnany compared Trump, the proud racist and leader of mobs of more proud racists, to the late African-American Civil Rights leader, Martin Luther King, Jr.

The panel started out boringly predictable enough, with McEnany trying to explain away Trump’s connection to KKK leader David Duke with an only slightly grown-up version of “well, he said he was sorry!”

Making it even more cringe-inducing was the appearance of the grown-up version of the grade school line “she started it!” when McEnany pointed out that Hillary Clinton had, according to a photograph, hugged Robert Byrd, a KKK leader himself.

Evidently, in the Trump camp’s playbook, hugging a racist makes you a racist, too.

Trump’s campaign has long been noted to employ the reasoning of a toddler, as CNN’s Anderson Cooper put it some months ago, while the primary was still underway.

Things got more disturbing from there, however, after McEnany brought up the late Martin Luther King, Jr., and actually found it in herself to compare him to Donald Trump. This was something that Guy Cecil, who is a Democratic strategist and current head of a pro-Clinton Super PAC, was not about to let McEnany get away with.

McEnany started out by mentioning “black leaders” in the Republican Party who have gotten behind Trump, trying to somehow thus prove that he isn’t racist — after all, he talks to black people.

And then she mentioned the late Dr. King, to the visible scoffing of her fellow panelists.

Cecil then fired off at McEnany, saying:

‘I always enjoy when a Trump supporter wants to ignore his record and then quote Martin Luther King. Martin Luther King would not have kicked AfricanAmericans off of a casino floor because a gambler wanted him to. Martin Luther King would never have put a ‘C’ on the top of rental applications and prevented African Americans from renting from him.’

McEnany tried to reply, but it was no use. There is no way to defend the idiocy of comparing Donald Trump to Martin Luther King, Jr.

Cecil, for his part, went on, saying:

‘Martin Luther King would not have sat on the stage and ridiculed and demeaned Muslims. He would not have insulted a Hispanic judge who was born in America who just happened to be of Mexican heritage.’

Trump’s minions, sent out to media networks across the nation to try and defend the man, are only becoming more and more desperate and making themselves and the candidate they represent look like fools in the process.

And voters, for their part, are no doubt taking notice, with the businessman turned presidential candidate looking at a well under 10 percent chance of a winning the presidency were the election to be held today.

MSNBC Hilariously Fact Checks Trump In Real Time With On Screen Scroll (VIDEO)

MSNBC deserves a serious round of applause.

Besides coming up so fast in ratings that The Rachel Maddow show is now competing with Fox News for the top spot among young adult viewers during prime time, this week the network delivered a seriously epic, real-time burn to Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump.

In New Hampshire on Thursday, the not-so-presidential presidential candidate growled to his audience of captivated followers that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton was “in hiding” in the wake of the supposedly campaign-damning revelations that have come out this month related to Clinton.

He said, to the literally seething mob:

‘Now, as all of these revelations have been discovered, some this week, many this month, Hillary Clinton has been hiding, she’s been hiding. where is she? Although I hear, for the first time in a long time, she’ll be making some kind of quick statement sometime later tonight.’

That assertion, of course, immediately comes off as quite overly sensationalized, a characteristic that is so very often found in Trump’s remarks.

MSNBC’s response, however, was perfectly on point.

As Trump droned on to the murmuring crowd, MSNBC ran at the bottom of the screen the text that you can see in the screenshot below.

lfuckingol

That’s right — immediately after Trump proudly pronounced that his Democratic challenger is “in hiding” because of the “revelations” that have lately come out, MSNBC ran the text: “Trump: Clinton is In Hiding (Speaking Next Hour)”.

The network thus securely shot down Trump’s latest outlandish and outright childish remark.

This isn’t the first time that a news network has done something like what MSNBC did on Thursday.

Back in June, CNN ran the chyron that you can see below, pointing out one of Trump’s many policy “flip- flops.”

boom bitch

Voters have long taken notice of Trump’s seeming inability to get his facts straight, and Americans do not want such a man to be president of the United States, a fact that is reflected crystal clearly in the polls and models, all of which combine to give Donald Trump a well under 10 percent chance of actually winning the presidency should the election be held today.

You can watch the full MSNBC segment, featuring tho oh-so-glorious chyron, below.

Trump Goes ‘Deer In Headlights During CNN Interview, Has Full Brain Malfunction LIVE (VIDEO)

This week, CNN’s Anderson Cooper caught up with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to try and give the candidate an opportunity to explain some of his seemingly contradictory remarks about what exactly a Trump presidency’s immigration policy would look like.

After spending over a year building up a presidential campaign on the sickening premise of building a wall on the border between the United States and Mexico and deporting the over 11 million undocumented persons currently living in the US, Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity this on Tuesday:

‘And there certainly can be a softening, because we’re certainly not looking to hurt people, we have some great people in this country.’

This comes from the man who has the only variance at his rallies as who he’ll decide to ridicule that day.

Naturally, observers of this, Trump’s latest “flip-flop,” were curious as to what the man really thinks- if, that is, he even knows.

Cooper thus met with the Republican presidential nominee at a Thursday rally in New Hampshire- the same rally whose live coverage saw CNBC plaster a headline across the bottom of the screen which burned one of Trump’s most wild statements in real time.

Trump’s interview with Cooper didn’t go much better for the candidate than the real time fact checking from CNBC that came during his speech.

Trump stumbled repeatedly and, as could be said to be characteristic, never really gave a straight answer as to why he all of a sudden supported a “softening” of his immigration policies.

Cooper began innocently enough, considering the nonsense that Trump was about to spew.

The CNN host asked Trump:

‘One of the big things you talked about during the primaries… eleven million undocumented immigrants in this country: they gotta go… They’ll be a door in the wall, the good ones can come back in. It’s gonna be done humanely, you said. There’s gonna be a deportation force. That no longer — it seems, there’s been some contradictory statement lately, but is that your policy?’

Trump didn’t ever quite actually give an answer.

The candidate began, saying “I don’t know who told you that but let me just tell you my policy.”

Yes, Donald, that would, in fact, be on point to share your policy since that’s what Cooper asked about.

He went on.

‘We’re gonna build a great wall. The wall is going to be paid for by Mexico. People are not going to be able to tunnel because we’re gonna have tunnel technology. We’re going to have all sorts of things… there’s going to be a real wall.’

“A great wall.” “Tunnel technology.” “All sorts of things.”

Cooper was just as confused as to what on earth any of this meant as any rational observer would be, and he tried to ask for some clarification- but he never got any.

The rest of the interview was just as bad. Trump talked about getting the “bad dudes out”- over and over again he mentioned that, as a matter of fact.

Trump FREAKS On Media Executives In Secret Meeting: Source Leaks EVERYTHING (DETAILS)

Anonymous sources have revealed to the New York Post that a meeting convened by President-elect Donald Trump between himself and key, leading members of the media on Monday at New York’s Trump Tower quickly turned into something “like a f*cking firing squad.”

Trump reportedly called the meeting on the premise of hosting a discussion with the nation’s leading media outlets on the groundwork for media access to Trump’s presidential administration once he takes office next January.

Instead, Trump took the opportunity granted by having a significant number of the leading faces of American news in the same place to go off on the media in punitive detail.

As an anonymous source told the New York Post of the meeting — speaking on the condition of anonymity since the meeting was off the record, “It was like a f*cking firing squad. Trump started with [CNN chief] Jeff Zucker and said ‘I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed.'”

Such criticism is literally almost childish, although certainly in line with the president-elect’s other behavior. (Think Twitter.)

Still, what kind of person issues blanket statements like that? “Everyone at CNN is a liar”? WTF?

Trump ended up spending the entire meeting, according to reports, lobbing similar complaints at other members of the media who had come to the meeting.

As the initial source went on to say:

‘The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing down.’

A second source described Trump’s in-meeting treatment of two other reporters, ABC’s Martha Raddatz and NBC’s Katy Tur, telling the New York Post:

‘Trump didn’t say [NBC reporter] Katy Tur by name, but talked about an NBC female correspondent who got it wrong, then he referred to a horrible network correspondent who cried when Hillary lost who hosted a debate — which was Martha Raddatz who was also in the room.’

Trump has thus continued on, via his Monday meeting, down the path of setting in place an inflammatory, confrontational tone as standard fare for communication between the Trump administration and those tasked with reporting news.

Trump started his infamous, long-running feud with the media well before now, making the outcome of this meeting hardly a surprise. He spent many campaign rallies railing against the “dishonest” media, taking his rhetoric to such dangerous points on many occasions that members of the media covering his rallies were often put in physical danger.

NBC’s Katy Tur, for example — who was specifically called out by Trump at Monday’s meeting — had to be placed under Secret Service protection while at a Trump rally after the then-presidential candidate directly called her out from the stage for her supposedly dishonest coverage of his campaign.

Following Trump’s remarks, the crowd turned against Tur to the point of sparking security intervention, with similar interventions sparked by disturbingly threatening behavior at other Trump campaign rallies directed towards the media throughout the final weeks before Election Day.

Donald Trump FLIPS Into Saturday Morning Online EXPLOSION, Mental Stability In Question

President-elect Donald Trump just had another early morning Twitter meltdown, this time targeting CNN, which he termed “fake news.”

Trump was responding with his tweets to Friday’s media buzz that he would be remaining onboard the production staff of “The Celebrity Apprentice” as Executive Producer. Such a story was met, understandably, with harsh criticism.

After all, is there any way to look positively at a sitting U.S. President having such a significant stake in private enterprise to the point of being a television show’s executive producer while at the very same time occupying the White House?

The president of the United States is supposed to serve the public interest of the people of the United States to a much greater extent than a state of affairs allowing for Trump’s business ties to remain so near and dear to him. The office isn’t called “the Presidency of the Donald Trump,” or even “the Presidency of the White People.”

Trump wrote early Saturday morning in response to the latest round of criticism over his holding fast to his business ties, “Reports by CNN that I will be working on The Apprentice during my presidency, even part time are ridiculous & untrue — FAKE NEWS!”

Of course, there’s a serious problem with what Trump is saying here.

The Friday reports from CNN and other major media outlets about his involvement with “The Apprentice” did not say that he will be “working on” it. Rather, media reported Friday simply that he would remain listed as an executive producer of the show.

Certainly Trump knows the difference, but that hardly stopped him from spinning the story into a way to incite his many followers against supposedly dishonest journalists and media outlets.

He also wrote Saturday morning of the same topic, “I have NOTHING to do with The Apprentice except for fact that I conceived it with Mark B & have a big stake in it. Will devote ZERO TIME!”

Again though, the issue isn’t any time that he may or may not ever devote to the show in the future; the issue is Trump’s “big stake” in the show, a stake that he refuses to give up.

“Fake news” has recently reached serious buzzword status, as it has been pointed to as fueling the populist rage that has given Trump the title of president-elect.

After all, analysts suggest — analysts/observers including Hillary Clinton herself — the wild ideas held fast to by Trump supporters can best be explained by fake news, web content that is much more about bringing in ad revenue rather than sharing actual information.

Trump, of course, has long been famed for his Twitter meltdowns. He touted the social media platform at one point recently as allowing him to get his message out without the meddling of supposedly dishonest journalists.

Trump FLIPS OUT On New Enemy During 6am Twitter Meltdown, He Is Unhinged (DETAILS)

The president-elect is really taking this “fake news” thing and running with it — again.

He just fired off another angry tweet at CNN over their coverage of a leak of documents alleging damning, deeply set ties to Russia on the part of the president-elect. These ties allegedly include a years long intelligence exchange agreement between Trump and the Kremlin and the Kremlin’s possession of information that could potentially be used to blackmail the soon to be president at some point in the future.

Two days after CNN first broke the story about all of this, on Thursday morning, Trump claimed on Twitter that the network “is in a total meltdown with their FAKE NEWS because their ratings are tanking since election and their credibility will soon be gone!”

Here’s the thing. CNN never reported fake news.

CNN’s Tuesday report on the leaked documents makes abundantly clear their nature as unconfirmed allegations. Yes, Buzzfeed News later ran with the story and published the full allegations themselves, but, even then, Buzzfeed didn’t report anything “fake” either.

The allegations might not be true — intelligence agencies have reportedly been working for months to figure out their veracity — but they are real allegations, nonetheless.

Trump, however, has taken the opportunity given him by the unsavory CNN report on him to irrationally bash the freedom of the press and freedom of speech again like he has long been fond of doing. He refused to take a question from CNN’s Jim Acosta at his Wednesday morning press conference, instead calling Acosta’s network “fake news.”

His attacks on the press have been so virulent that, at times, physical threats have been lobbed at members of the press by his supporters. Trump has also spoken fondly of the possibility of opening up more avenues to sue the press under his presidential administration.

CNN Responds To Trump’s Tantrum Over Their Refusal To Run His Ad – This Is Perfect

0

President Trump took his antagonizing of CNN to a new level on Tuesday, issuing an all-caps, screaming press release attacking the network for refusing to air an ad that his team had produced.

The ad in question was released on Monday and is clearly an attempt to counter the cascade of reports noting that the first 100 days of Trump’s time in office have been marked by little in the way of actual legislative accomplishments.

The Trump team’s counter to these reports is to note, among other things, that Trump got a Supreme Court pick confirmed in his first 100 days. Such is noted in the ad that is at the center of this controversy.

The issue with that claim, however, is that only a tiny handful of Presidents have even faced a Supreme Court vacancy in their first 100 days. Thus, for Trump to say that he’s done something spectacular because he got a Supreme Court pick confirmed is really a non-starter.

In addition to that, the reasoning that the new Trump campaign ad offers up for why it is that voters haven’t heard about the supposed success of the infantile Trump presidency is, unsurprisingly, because all the mainstream media does is peddle “fake news.”

President Trump, of course, has stuck to this talking point for pretty much the entire time that he’s been in the public spotlight, dismissing public concerns with the functioning of his administration as nothing more than the work of fake news.

Unsurprisingly, CNN refused to air this crapshoot of an ad, prompting the Trump team to take to social media to scream about “censorship.”

The press release that his still functioning campaign team issued on Tuesday makes the following ridiculous claim: “CNN takes issue with the ad’s message calling out the mainstream media for peddling fake news and not reporting on the fact that President Trump is making America great again.”

CNN has now responded to the latest round of antagonizing from the Trump team, issuing a statement which reads, in part:

‘CNN requested that the advertiser remove the false graphic that says mainstream media is “fake news.” The mainstream media is not fake news, and therefore the ad is false. Per our policy, it will be accepted only if that graphic is deleted. Those are the facts.’
